韓德爾做了很多像是夏康、數字低音的變奏曲，其中有的變奏曲像是帕薩喀格利亞pasacaglia這種類型的變奏曲，是當時上達天聽的小品。我在教學的過程中，特別喜歡這「2首」既是練習曲，又能夠用來當背景音樂的小品，因為是變奏曲，所以可以無限反覆、可長可短，手指練習也不無聊。第二首還可以當「演奏會用小曲」，在調性上，a小調和e小調都是大家都可以上手的調性，譜中有指法與演奏指示記號提供大家做演奏參考，希望大家練習愉快
